Hi, I’m Caroline, the Mad Mama behind the brownies — and I’ve been baking since before I could talk. My earliest memories are of standing on a stool in the kitchen with my mama, measuring flour, sneaking chocolate chips and falling in love with homemade desserts. That childhood joy sparked a lifelong passion, and today I’m proud to carry that legacy forward from my home kitchen in St. Pete, Florida.

Baking has always been more than a hobby — it’s about connection, creativity, and celebrating life’s little moments. I now share that love with my own kids, just like my mama did with me.

In my teens, I fell head over heels for brownies. After more than 20 years of testing and tweaking recipes — and a LOT of encouragement from friends — I launched Mad Mama Bakes, a small-batch brownie bakery rooted in flavor, fun, and quality. Every brownie is made with ingredients I feel good about, like organic 85% cocoa chocolate, pasture-raised eggs, and homemade vanilla extract made with organic vanilla beans and local St. Pete ingredients.

I’m often asked which brownie is my favorite, and the answer is easy: the Milky Way Madness. It’s the OG, where it all began, and it will always have my heart. But no matter which flavor you pick, every brownie is crafted with the same dedication to taste, quality, and joy.
